There will be a second mock examination during the week beginning 7th December. It will cover all the material in C2 and will be of great use in seeing how prepared you are for the actual examination in January.

Examination Dates
I have entered all the examination dates for this year into the events calendar. They will appear in the right hand sidebar. Please be aware that the summer dates (May/June) are still provisional and may be subject to change. If you have any query about the dates or what exam you are meant to be doing then please contact me as soon as you can. Revision sessions will be organised closer to the dates.

Farewells & Hellos
There will be a lot of changes in the Science Department for next year:
Leaving:
- Mr Pennington – Has worked at Cornelius Vermuyden for 5 years, I know many of you will miss him.
- Mr Macdonald – Technician working around rooms 10, 11, 13. He has worked at CV for 7 years.
- Mr McConnon – worked with us for one year he will continue teaching abroad.
- Miss DiPietro – will return to Canada to take up a teaching post after being with us for one year.
- Miss Elliott – will return to Canada to take up a teaching post after being with us for one year.
I would like to thank all of them for the hard work they have given and wish them all the best.

Year 8 End of Year Exam
There will be an end of year exam for all Year 8s in the week beginning 6th July.
This is an important test as it will provide more evidence as to which set you will go into in year 9. The test covers material from Year 7 & 8 so I suggest you use the website to help you with your revision.
