Students doing Core Science will study 6 modules composed of Biology, Physics & Chemistry. There are 6 Module examinations to do in the year and they are all multiple choice.
B1a/B1b will be examined in November.
C1a/C1b will be examined in March.
P1a/P1b will be examined in June.
Students will also have to complete 3 Investigative Skills Assignments (ISA) one of which will go towards their final results.
Students will have the chance to resit module examinations if their teacher thinks it would be worthwhile.
